Dzekereish aims to contribute to Arsenal in every match.

Goals from Maduk and Dzekereš secured a 2-1 victory for Arsenal in a key fourth-round match of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League. Swedish star Dzekereš stated that scoring for the team is his responsibility as a striker and that he aims to contribute to Arsenal in every game.

In the 9th minute, Dzekeresh dealt with the defense and made a through pass. Maduk received the ball, entered the penalty area, and slotted it home, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead. In the 38th minute, Merino made a diagonal pass into the penalty area, where Dzekeresh received the ball and curled a shot into the net, extending Arsenal's lead over Slavia Prague to 2-0.

In the final stages of the second half, Julasek chipped a pass from the left wing into the penalty area, where Viktor Novak volleyed home to help Slavia Prague pull one back to 2-1.

Arsenal ultimately defeated Slavia Prague 2-1 away from home. With this crucial three points, Arsenal currently sits in third place in the standings with 10 points, laying a solid foundation for qualification.

Arsenal striker Stefan Dzekeresh said, "I feel very good, and I'm happy the team won, and I also contributed to both goals. I felt very good in the first half, but considering the situation in the second half, perhaps I don't feel as good now."

"But overall, looking back at the first half, our performance was still very positive. As a striker, that's my job. Of course, as long as I'm on the field, I hope to contribute to the team in every game and participate in the attack as much as possible."

In addition, Arsenal will host Hull City at the Emirates Stadium in the next round of the Premier League, after which they will enter an international break.

Dzekeresh also said, "So far, we have performed quite well in the Champions League and the league. We are in a good position at this stage."

"However, I think everyone is well aware of what aspects of the team can improve and what we need to do to perform better."
